The REGGIANI DReAM; High-speed, continuous ink jet printing
Bergamo, Italy is home of the Reggiani DReAM Machine.
The concept of bringing mill level printing to the commissioned printing service industry is not new. What is new is the availability of higher level printing equipment specifically for this purpose. Now the availability is here, as is the technology.
The Reggiani systems are the top of the list in terms of abilities and speed in this regard, printing up to approximately 180 yards per hour at 600 dpi. The Dream Digital facility houses two Reggiani systems, one printing up to 72" widths on average, with specific poly fabrics up to 82", dedicated to polyester & poly-spandex fabrics. The second, up to approximately 60" widths dedicated to acid inks, primarily for nylon, spandex, silk and wool.
The Reggiani DReAM Machine's speed bring a new dimension to commissioned printing services, printing at 10x the normal speed of digital printing systems. This ability brings the ability to offer production runs to the world of digital in North America as a commissioned service.

The RIMSLOW company has brought a new level of successful processing equipment to the digital printing community.
For 2007, the Rimslow System is high on the priority list! After the printing comes the grand finale. A coordinated effort of steaming or heat setting, washing and finishing are all made possible by the introduction of the Rimslow SteamX and WashX systems. Both systems are 'user friendly' and are the best in the market for processing for versatility, good speed and consistent results. For a print-for-pay facility, the ability of the Rimslow systems to handle the wide variety of textiles requiring processing, they turn on a dime and give mill quality results.
Within the configuration of the steamer and washer are added features, such as the ability to pre-coat fabrics, including stretch, and add finishes to processed textiles. The SteamX also operates as a heat setting system, able to switch readily between substrates requiring steaming or just heat, making it the most versatile on the market.
